Award-winning artist at art salons in Brazil.

Self-taught in wood carving since the age of 12, graduated in Fine Arts from PUC Campinas (1990). He worked with furniture carving and its styles, which helped in the development of carving techniques.

He currently participates in art shows and continues with projects, installations and runs carving courses and workshops in Jarinu, in his bioconstruction studio, for beginners and artists who want to improve.

“Through my work I try to awaken in people new perceptions and subjective messages about everyday objects or situations. In my day to day life, I try to observe

the events around me, receiving them without a prior conceptual evaluation of what they are or mean and I leave these events stored in my consciousness, far away

of the rational mind. In this process, after some time, images and creative processes return, which are my finished works or my inspirations. Instead of conceptualizing

the usefulness and meaning of things, I like to question them, thus opening up new possibilities in the creative process.”
